Gen Z in NYC: Expressions of Faith
Beginning in 2005, Mike Matthews came to NYC to pursue his career in advertising. Shortly thereafter he was asked by his local church to be a volunteer youth leader, which introduced him to some of the most interesting and inspiring young adults across the five boroughs. Although Pew Research has dubbed members of Gen Z (born 1997-2012) "the least religious generation", Mike discovered they're often misunderstood in terms of their beliefs, approach to faith, and overall culture. In this podcast, Mike interviews different NYC youth who share their real, unscripted stories and expressions of faith. Email: mike@genznyc.com or IG: @genz_in_nyc
